Looking at your user profile, I'd guess you're not supportive of adoption. I don't know you or your story, but I'm guessing you've been hurt. I've met my sister's birth mom. In fact, she and her husband, along with their four sons, have become part of our family too.

Until I sent her a copy of the article I wrote, she'd been made to feel like a "naughty girl" for having a baby out of wedlock. I'm sure she felt a lot of pressure from family members to give the baby up for adoption. She was 15 at the time.

My sister's birth mom eventually married and had four boys. But she couldn't forget the baby girl she'd given up for adoption. She eventually took efforts to find my sister, and we've all benefitted from knowing and loving one another.

Not all teenage pregnancies have a happy ending. But this one did.Christiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01447684647722772526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27756944.post-32995460824654389852008-11-06T23:51:00.000-07:002008-11-06T23:51:00.000-07:00Since adoption is a miracle and Mormons tend to ha...Since adoption is a miracle and Mormons tend to have large families why not ask each large family to give one of their children to a childless family? Then they too could share in the miracle. There is a family on TV that is now going on 18.Why not encourage that family to help to make another couple happy?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27756944.post-68449934850659405912008-11-06T14:52:00.000-07:002008-11-06T14:52:00.000-07:00Christie,Thanks for being so kind to look our for ...Christie,
Thanks for being so kind to look our for Rachel.
